HI!
i am new to DNn.

I want to Upgrade the application developed in 4.5.1 to Latest Version(5.6)(Proffessional Edition)
I wanted to Try first with the Community Edition.
So Please help me with the procedure to be done for this at the earlist.

I would be happy to hear as early as possible.

There is a lot of information out there about upgrading.  It's pretty easy conceptually, but there are places where you can run into a bit of difficulty.  Most of those lie around understanding what 3rd party modules you are using and if they require upgrades as well?

The wiki contains a good reference for helping you progress through various upgrades, since you are coming from an older version.  I would recommend you start with having a look here:

Hi

Thank You For Your Response.
It Helped me But I am getting Few Errors:

1. Error  Name 'ComponentFactory' is not declared.
2. Error  Type 'SimpleContainer' is not defined.
3. Error  Type 'ProviderInstaller' is not defined.  
4. Error  Type 'DotNetNuke.Security.Permissions.PermissionProvider' is not defined.
5. Error    Name 'Initialize' is not declared.
6. Error    Type 'UsernameTokenManager' is not defined.  

Please Help me to solve the errors.
