Hello everyone

Since I am new to DNN, in my aventures of trying to figure out how it works - I have deleted 2 pages from the ADMIN drop down menu. The pages are "Site Settings" and "Search Engine SiteMap". Been trying to add them again somehow but couldn't find a way - then I realized there is a Recycle Bin and that the deleted pages where there.

Whoohoo right? Well, after I restored them, the pages where empty. They went back into the ADMIN menu but when I click on them there is absolutley no content in them, they are black, empty, white, etc.

Does anyone have any idea how I can "un-zombie" those two sites? The Recycle bin doesn't help much if they are empty after restoration :(

Thank you for your time.

In the recycle bin you can see 2 lists: one for pages, another for modules. Please check second one, probably your modules there and you can restore them.

Thank you for your reply. You where right, the modules box in the Recycle bin had both of the modules in it. After I restored them, everything works fine.
Looks like I failed to realize that the pages are actually containers with titles and that the modules provide the functionality of a certain page.

Thanks again! :)

I'm a new DNNizen!

I'm also new to content management & web admin.

I find this forum/site very helpful, thank you!

My issue: after recovering pages & modules from the recycle bin, I go to the page recovered and all I see is white space. I see the module and the page name but no content.

Am I missing a step? Is there a step beyond the recycle bin? Thank you for your help!

JaMila,
please make sure, you are not in layout mode, which displays just the skin as well as container and title of each of the modules of the page.
If the content is not visible in view or edit mode, the module seems to react on being delete and removed the content. Which module did you use?

Cheers from Germany,
