Has anyone had any experience in configuring this hosting portal.  I've been used to the Go Daddy root install method, but as they've changed their security settings I have to move hosting providers.  The pipeten multihosting package seemed to be quite good, but I'm really struggling to get the install working.  I've created the db and apparently I have full permissions, I can access this through Management Studio.  I uploaded the .zip file, but as there was no way I could unarchive it, I copied up all the files to the root folder.  I've updated the web config file to point to the sql server, but when I access the url, nothing happens other than getting the control panel log in page.  Does anyone have an idiots guide or some other suggestions?

Hi Doug,

That's interesting that it is redirecting to a control panel log in. Maybe the domain isn't configured properly on their web server?

Might want to try dropping a plain index.html file in your root directory to see if you can browse to it. If that works, you can try browsing to the install file for DNN directly by using yourdomain.com/install/install.aspx and see if it triggers the install script. You may also want to check and make sure ASP.NET support is enabled as a web service for your domain. Not sure what their control panel is like but there should be an option for it in there somewhere.

If all else fails, i'd suggest checking their documentation for installing a CMS on their servers or talk with their support.

Thanks for the suggestions. I had placed an html file in there and could browse to it. After I removed it, and renamed the control panel login page I got a 404 error.  However, the situation is now resolved. It seems to have been an issue with .net services, which once stopped and restarted, made everything work.  Thanks for your help, anyay.
