We've tried 3 different editors and none of which work right.

The issue is that I have a site at http://www.mydomain.com and a completely different site at https://www.mydomain.com

The unsecured site is a DNN installation, the other is a custom application.

Whenever I put a URL into the html editor that points to something like https://www.mydomain.com/somepage.aspx the html editor strips out the https://www.mydomain.com portion resulting in a bad URL.

How can I tell DNN to stop doing this?

you might need to use a different portal alias for your https links, sorry. This is an oversight in DNN Core, but AFAIK there is no option to circumvent it. you might log it at support.dotnetnuke.com to be fixed in a future release of DNN.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
