I'm running DNN 5.6.2 with YAF 1.9.5.5.

My task at hand is to import several hundred members. The problem is, I'm not sure where to start. I see the User's table's are spread around quite a bit.

What I'd like to carry over are the following fields...
UserName
Email
(somehow force the user to reset their password)
Post Count
Points

There are no roles or anything other than that of my own. Would this be difficult?

Do you have list of users in Excel, XML or other formats? What is the source of users accounts?

I suggest using one of the user import modules from www.snowcovered.com, e.g. the modules by PHDobson worked very well for me in the past.

About five years ago, I built a hobby site in DragonFly CMS. It ended up growing quite a bit and now that I'm an experience .NET developer, I figure I should move it to a platform an language I'm familiar with. So, the source of the data would be MySQL from the DragonFly CMS.

I've extracted the users and have them in Excel currently.

After I successfully import the users, I'll be working on the forums data. (categories, topics and posts)

I've created a C# application that will allow me to import the data, however, I need to know the structure. Example, my dF site has one table for the users, where as I noticed DotNetNuke has several.  I'm looking to figure out which tables need what data.

Ok, its clear for me. But do not sure it is good idea to create users directly in DB. You should use C# and DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UsersController. It will be more correct. DotNetNuke users are not single table.
