Hello,

I have 3 skins, [home],[skinMain] and [reg]

When i apply the reg skin to the registration page it changes the home page too.
I am using the latest DNN.

How do i make a seperate registration page with seperate skin?

Also is it possible for the new user to upload there CV/resume during the registration process?

If not how would i do this? Preferably without another paid module.

Ok, you can do all of this with Core. There are few steps you should to do:

  1. Create new page, for example "Custom Registration". At the same time apply a skin you would like to use.
  2. Go to this page and add a module "Account Login". This is Core module so it should present in the list.
  3. Go to the "Admin/ Site Settings" and scroll down to the "Advanced Settings/ Page Management".
  4. Change "Login Page" to the page you have created. BE VERY CAREFULLY! Do not change "Registration Page".
  5. Thats it.
About CV uploading. Its possible, but CV will be in Rich Text only, not like attachment. If it is ok for you, then:
  1. Go to the "Admin/ User Accounts".
  2. Click "Manage Profile Properties".
  3. Click "Add New Profile Property": Name -> CV, DataType->RichText, Property Category->Preferences.....etc. Save it and use.
Hope this helps! Write if any questions.

Sergey,

Thank you for the in-depth post. However i have a small problem.
I dont see the module "Account Login", but i do see "Authentication" and that seems to add the account login control to the page.

I change the advanced page settings in the login section of the drop down to "custom registration" and then hit update.

When i click on the "custom registration page it show me the login control i added, and when i click "register" it takes me to the registeration page but the skin is not correct. Applying the reg skin to the custom registration page doesnt seem keep maintained in the register page.

I have been able to solve this by adding the users and roles module to the page.
