Hi,

To make a form in dnn, you can do easy (it you have knowledge of asp.net) as a custom module.

A module is a standard asp.net webcontrol (ascx, not a aspx) where you can but some controls like dropdownbox, textbox and buttons and fire events when the button is clicked like sending a email or populate a database table.

In DNN5 you can create fast a empty module from menu HOST, Modules and then choise the action "create module".

You can then use for exemple Visual developer express to create the form and define the events.

There is a module called "Form and List" (not two separate modules called "Forms" and "Lists") that can be used to create a wide variety of forms. It is a core module & I think it is installed by default.

There is is some good documentation here: dnnfnl.codeplex.com/releases/view/38489

Sacha,

Thanks for your links and info, this is what i am looking for. I will try right away, i hope i can solve my problem with this.

Brad,

I do not have the module called "Form and List" so it does not come by default. I installed DNN less than a month ago, so i don't think they have develop one after that.

Regards,

Alejandro

Log in as host on your DNN install. Make sure the Edit Mode is selected (in the control panel normally at the top of the page). Select from the menu "Host...Extensions". At the bottom of that page click on "Install Available Extensions" and check the checkbox in front of "FormAndList" under "Available Modules". Now your ready to add the FormAndList module.
