Hi Rich. No luck in design mode. I can still see a little blue triangle to show there's a container there, but nothing happens when I click on it and there's no container menu. The container doesn't have a title, but there is some text in it that I need to delete.

I know the name of the module and I've tried to use an FTP client to connect to the server and delete the module. I don't understand how the folders are organized though. Does anyone know where I the what the pathway would be to a container in a standard DNN installation?

Hi Andrea,

You cannot delete the contents via FTP as it is stored in the database. You may be able to delete the container skin so that it will go back to the default but first let me ask some questions. The menu is a function of the container. We can fix the problem, but will need to work through it. First I just want to throw a few things out there. What browser are you using and have you tried another? Do you know what container skin was applied to the module? Do you have a default container skin specified under either the site or host settings. If so what is it. What is the container skin you are using that is working? Have you upgraded your site since adding the module to all of your pages? What version of DNN are you running. You can find that under Host/Host settings. Is there an upgrade available for your skin? If purchased thur snowcovered check under hotfixes.

I have an all morning meeting today that may go into the afternoon and am away from my office, so post your answers here and I'll get back as soon as I can. Don't worry we'll fix it and don't do anything drastic.

Rich

Hi Rich,

Thanks very much for taking the time to go through everything with me. I was using Firefox before. I tried it in Safari, as you suggested and was able to see the container menu and deleted the module successfully. Brilliant!! It's starting to look great so hopefully I can get backing for my start-up - then I'll get the Professional Edition. Thanks again, Andrea
