Is this even possible? I figured I would post this in the developer forum as they would have more developer experience with the module.

I am in the midst of creating a module and one major section is managing documents. It would be great if I could just re-use the document controls. So I have registered the Documents and EditDocs  controls in the top of my page, and the two controls display nicely. I have manually entered a document in the document table with the module id of my control. But the documents are not loading.

I tried to download the install with source, but there are no source files, only the compiled dll's.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Angus.

Ok, so I have the source. I found a post somewhere which mentioned renaming resource file to zip and then unzipping to get source files.

I have placed source files in folder in App_Code and things are compiling ok. When the Page_Load function fires in Document.ascx.vb, the ModuleId is set to -1, and returns an error while trying to run the GetDocuments function.

So for one thing, it is not picking up the ModuleId from the parent module. But I manually set this to ModuleId and it returns an error. I think it is because the EditURL is not set.

I think I will code my own document handling. I will need to extend document handling, and also place the documents where I want.
