I'm running last version of DNN on a Windows Server 2008 R2 with IIS7. I didn't try impersonation, will try that first

Tried with and without impersonation, both not working. I have no clue why I don't get those infos...

I'm at a loss myself. The only other thing I can think of trying is LDAPBrowser (http://ldapbrowser.com) and seeing what information it pulls from the AD. That's usually what I use when I'm troubleshooting on my own system.

I am also seeing this. It only pulls out: City, Region, Locale, Last name, first name, display name and email for my installation (also Server 2008, IIS7.5).

I doesn't fill out any of the other profile fields and the annoying thing is if you fill these out then the next time the user logs in these are deleted.

Is there any way to stop the AD login from updating the profile altogether? I have had a look at the source code but cannot see where this information is actually being set?

Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Lee.

Currently experiëncing this problem too, on DNN 6.1.2 with AD Provider 5.0.3 (which is the current latest version).

After some experimenting I've found out that it has something to do with the 'Synchronize role'-option of the AD Provider. As soon as you enable that, the AD Provider will clear out the currently logging in person's profile (and probably overwrite the default Firstname, lastname, etc fields with the latest records from AD).

When role synchronizing is disabled, their profiles stay intact at login.

Since I figure this can't be by design, is there anything that can be done here on a short term, to have this fixed? The customer really needs the role synchronizing as well as profiles kept intact..
