Hi Roger
Re Hosting. I use RedFox Hosting. Back in the day (DNN3) I was looking for a host that let me have multiple domains and sites and let me select between .Net 1.1 and 2 for each domain - Red fox where the only ones to let me do that.
I soon found that DNN really needs decent facilities like its own app pool, full trust (sometimes) and is not so good on the average shared server.
I asked Warren (RedFox owner) about options and he set up a semi dedicated server (less than 20 other sites) with great results.
EG:
http://www.royal-southern.co.uk/ http://www.sbe.co.uk/ Very quick and responsive.
You have to enquire directly about the semi-d server package. Recently I set one up in the clients name and it cost about £140.
You get helm and all the usual interfaces.
The DB is on a separate box.
To be honest I cannot say enough good things about them. I am pretty sure it is a one or two man business but I have been with them for years now and with very few problems (not of my own causing). I have referred many people to them and all seem happy.
A further big bonus is Warren is very helpful and really knows his Asp.Net stuff. They do not do Linux!
Oh Yes - No yearly contract - it is monthly.

Note: Recently the support email response time has lengthened a bit. Sometimes it takes 24 hrs but I don't really ever need it.
Re DST - Yes - Given the pro and enterprise versions lack this too then maybe it's higher up the list than previously.
Cheers
