I am using Visual Studio 2010 to build my DNN website
My solution builds fine, but I am unable to publish my website. I am trying to publish the website to a local folder on my system. I either get a buld failed error or just get a status message "ready" ( but dont see any files in the folder).

Can any one help me with this?

you cannot "build" the web site, you need to transfer manually.

Actually my problem was with publishing the website, not building it!!

When I build the solution, it builds fine without any error. BUt when I try to publish my website to a local folder, I get an error message saying Build failed.
