Hi all

we're putting a site together for a business organisation. The site will effectively have 6 town areas on the site.

We want a module that will allow each town to update and display members of that town group on their own page. So thats 6 pages, each with their own members directory.

On (say) the home page, there will be a main directory that displays all of the information in the other areas and it updates when each area page gets updated (thus eliminating central management).

We have a module that allows us to show an area directory on each page, the difficult bit is the last bit.

Can anyone help? Do you have or know of a module / application that will do this?

Thanks

Pat

This is certainly very doable in dnn - but I would suggest building a custom set of modules to make it function most effectively.

Would still prefer a module already built thats reliable with great backup if one exists.

The Repository can do what you need except for the last part, but if I understand your requirement it would be pretty easy to extend.  On the "home" page, where you are consolidating items from multiple module instances from various pages on your site ... would the consolidated module on the home page be another module instance? with all the same functionality?  or would it be like the Repository Dashboard, where it would be a consolidated list of items from multiple modules, sorted in various ways, like latest files, highest rated, etc .. but would only be links that would take you to the page where the module instance lives that "owns" the item?
