Hi, usually when we use DNN to make a webpage the default format is aspx, but what we wanted was to create it to the HTML page. My friend and I have been trying to convert the aspx page to HTML format. We've tried saving the page as HTML format, however that will save the whole page(eg.DNN link, search engine) instead of only the content needed. Does anyone has a solution to this problem or an alternative way to save the page properly? Do help us! :D

Its not really possible to do what you are talking about - dnn dynamically builds HTML code on the fly as you request each page.

Wes is absolutely correct, DNN uses the .aspx extension because pages are created dynamically. Depending on what you are trying to accomplish however there are options to:

1. Present your pages with an HTML extension (using third party url re-writer)
2. Save a "copy" of a DNN page.

Hi, Steven, my friend and I, we're still new in this DNN software, could you give me a link or perhaps brief me about how the first method (HTML extension (using third party url re-writer)) works?
