Just a quick follow-up here... I took a look at the code - I'm pretty sure it's in the SendPassword.ascx.vb file starting around line 234 or so (copied at the end here).

If I'm not missing something here, it looks like it just doesn't do that - but, adding it would be a one-line addition. Personally, I'd default to forcing a password reset - who would want to remember the auto-generated password? Given that the process of changing a password normally is kinda buried, it makes sense to me that DNN would default to forcing a reset.

I'm pretty new to this stuff - is there a place to request such changes from the team?
