Hi, hope you can help me.

The problem is that after moving a DNN from one server to another it shows the ~/Install/UnderConstruction.htm page with the message "this site is currently unavailable".

I'm sure the permissions are set correctly, the connectionstring has been updated and the portalalias table has the correct record (otherwise I would have a redirect problem but not even that!), the event viewer shows this entry at the server, any ideas?:

it looks like there is another service blocking access to web.config. restart application and check your backup and virus scanner configuration.

Hi there!

Thanks for the tip, the cause was that after uploading the new files I was using Notepad++ and a plugin to FTP the web.config to change the connectionstring, it seems like that client wasn't properly closing or releasing the file.

On the other hand, once the web.config was accessible the database was not accessible because the login user when mapped to the user of the database didn't have the "owner" schema although it was set like that, from now on I'll have to double check that configuration when restoring the database.
