Hi, I created DNN version 05.06 and I have a problem with default search text field (on the top - right side). I put any word with good length to search
field, click (or I press enter). I can see, that firefox write (on the bottom) waiting ...., page refresh, without any result and page is same. I tried create new page and as a administrator - web settings - search result page I choose my new page.   After searching I see my new page, but without any results.
(yes, I searching words, which I have in my DNN - Text/HTML modules).
Please, can anybody help me?
Thanks

I would first check that the skin you are using actually has a functional search button.  I have seen a number of skins of late where the search button is not actually functional.

please make sure, there is only ONE single page with the search results module in your site - including the recycle bin!

Hi,
I have a "default" skin with my personal  small changes. If I looked in - menu -  extensions - Search module  and I clicked on hyperlink yes (on the right side in the row), I can see in combo box values
-Host
- and Title of my web portal

I clicked on title of my web portal - result nothing, but if I clicked on Host, I seen path to the module.

I open admin - extensions -Search admin, Search Input,  Search result  - I can see, that this module  - version in use No.
Must I activate this module?
Regards

Is the site currently live so that we can look at it.

If you hover over the SEARCH BUTTON it should say something like:

__doPostBack('dnn$dnnSEARCH$cmdSearch','')

If you dont see something like this then the skin is not wired up correctly.
