Hey
I am developing a skin that uses it's own user controls, In one of these user controls  I need to add a JavaScript to page header this javascript is placed in the same folder as skin placed so I need to get the current skin path somehow.

I need to use something like

Skins.Skin myskin = Skins.Skin.GetSkin();
  string spath =           myskin.SkinPath;

but I don't know what arguments should I use in get skin it needs a DotNetNuke.Framework.PageBase type of augment, I am confused here .

I realize this thread is very old, but in case it helps anyone.

Inside a user control that you call from your DNN SKIN, simply add the following to the code behind:

    Public ReadOnly Property SkinPath As String
        Get
            Dim parentSkin As DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin = Me.Parent
            Return parentSkin.SkinPath
        End Get
    End Property

This simply exposes a PROPERTY local to the user control that pulls it's value from the PARENT SKIN.

Works for me just fine...
