It doesn't appear that the Windows login actually connects to AD to authenticate. I have tried an account in AD five times and cannot connect. Our AD is set up so that three unsuccessful attempts results in an account being locked out. This doesn't happen so we're absolutely certain that the username/password is not going through AD authentication.

Sorry I was away yesterday so I'll try to answer your posts all at once...


First, yes, login.ascx is the correct Login Control Source.
Second, what happens if you try to go to http://localhost/desktopmodules/authenticationservices/activedirectory/windowssignin.aspx? Also, what pipeline mode are you running the site under?
