Not sure where this goes.  It may actually be an Editor issue, or an HTML module issue, (or a 'feature'...   )

In text within an HTML module [likely elsewhere] I highlight text, like [Click Here] and then link to/select another page on the same site/portal as the target (I chose the Contact-Me page on this site for the preceding example...).  What gets substituted in the HTML code is a full-blown, complete URL.

When I set up a duplicate TEST or BACKUP site, I use the same database, restored to a different server/instance.  These 'page' links, now full URLs, either jump out to the primary/real site,or if local/isolated, do not fly at all.

Problem is, I want a 'relative' URL; i.e. one that stays true; a link to a page in the same portal; not a fixed URL.

Seems DNN is OK and doing what it is told.  I suppose I could hand-edit all the page links, if I knew how, and if that is what is truly required.

I'm using the Telerik RadEditor; do others work differently?

Thanks in advance.

The CKEditor works by default with relative url.

Downloaded it.  I may try it.  I hope the installed files are a lot less than the 10MB download...  My entire site now is 17MB...

Per the docs it looks good and addresses the issue.

Thanks!
