I am a DNN Newbie please help.

The following are the items I am trying to achieve by using DNN and an external project.

1) I am using DNN for user registration, Forums, etc.,

2) I have a project which is not DNN related, but created in VB.net. I want to use IFrame to get the page displayed in DNN.

3) I want to pass UserID parameter to the IFrame when getting the page from the external project.

4) I want to be able to host the DNN project and external project from the same hosting company.

Can anybody please help me how I can achieve the above items.

Thanks for all the help.

Chandu

Wait for DNN 3.3/4.1, it will include a new version of iframe, that can pass parameters to the framed URL. You can easily host both apps on the same server, but if you place them on same site in nested folders, pay attention, cause web.config settings will be inherited.
