Hi,
I'm about to delpoy some dnn project and i'm considering
to wait for the coming new version.
Is there any time estimation when the version will be ready?
I'm not looking for specific date, just to know if it's a matter of
weeks or months.

Thanks.

As the beta test ist already running and there are curently only a couple of items reported, I predict that it will be released during the next weeks.

Cheers from Germany,

Outside of core team members, how many people are testing it?

It's hard to give an exact number, but it is available to platinum benefactors and all project teams. I've seen bug reports from a lot of additional people, though sometimes they're focussed in a certain area e.g. the 3rd party developers who offer SSO/portal mapping products concentrate on user functions.

Cathal/Leopold,

Would u say that the 4.1 version will more stable than the previous 4.x versions?
I had a lot of installation problems with dnn4 on multiple different servers
(and never had a problem with dnn3).

Thanks again.
