Hi, i am new with DNN, but i read a lot on the net and start developing my skin but on problem with Menu items, what i want one menu item in multiple line, EX, my nav width 603px, i divided  the whole area into 7 block each one got a width of 86px so i used html span tag in my skin.ascx file as follow

rootmenuitemlefthtml="<span>"
rootmenuitemrighthtml="</span>"

then i used style in my skin.css file as bellow

.MainMenu_RootMenuItem span{width:86px; height:auto; margin-left:0; margin-top:30px;  display:block; text-align:center; white-space:pre; background:#00CC00}

its all ok, i am geting background color and span width working , but the problem is my text in the menu item is not going to be strached according to span width, that is 86px. in this regards the text for the menu item need to be break apart into two lines, but currently its overlaping to the span,  is there any other solution or some one can help me how to make my span size stable and working well,

the other question is that my Active Css Class is not working like it says rootmenuitemactivecssclass="MainMenu_RootMenuItemActive" in the skin.ascx and the style defined in the skin.css says .MainMenu_RootMenuItemActive span{color:#ff9900; background:transparent; font-size:36px}
any solution?

thanks in advance, shujaat
