Why is it that users can't delete their own posts unless they are given admin permissions?  It makes no sense to me why a forum can't be set up to allow users to delete their own posts.  I have my forum set to Public, No moderation.

Can anyone school me on this?

I dont think a user can delete their own posts since it could create issues with referential integrity with the current way the forums are designed.  You can give edit rights to the user so they can delete the content of the post.

joisey is correct, this is not a feature available in the module (unless the user is a moderator).
