Hi all,

Suddenly my site starts giving SQL Exception error/..

SQL Exception
Procedure: AddEventLog

The transaction log for database "My database" is full. To find out why space in the log can not be reused.see the log_reuse_wait_desc column in .......

Can any one suggest what could be the reason.. and how to solve this.. I have cleared the log and recycle bin and site is working now..

Can any one tell me that is the error was because of the event logs...

Thanks
Sansugoi

Do you run regular back ups on your SQL database, and then a db shrink? Try that using the Maintenance Wizard in SQL Server Management Studio.
