I have a portal using DNN 4.08.02 and my event viewer has stoped working im having the following error page

Any idea what is causing the error

As Philip indicated the likely cause is an EventLog which has become excessively large.

I have managed to bring down the records in the EventLog table from 600,000 to just 44,000 but still get this error when trying to access EventLog Page
