I am having a problem installing a skin pack (v.5.6.2 +) using GoDaddy as a host. It looks as if the pack is installing, and just before it gets to the actual installation of the unzipped content, I get a /dnn application server error. But the ASP.NET server is configured to only show details on the server - not the client. So I do not get the detail message (based on when the error occurs, however, I suspect it is a security setting and GoDaddy is not letting me write the files to the server).

This is a well know server setting, and can be fixed with a couple of lines of code for customerrors in the web.config BUT...

As soon as I make the slightest change in the ..\dnn\web.config file and then try to access the domain, GoDaddy send me a similar message | error code 500, internal server error.

They claim they cannot debig the DNN web.config, but I cannot get any detail on the message to try to debug it from outside the system. Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks
