Hello,
I hope there might be someone here who can give me some ideas on how to proceed with a site that has crashed. The url is http://www.erwc.org. This site has been active for some time, and was working fine just last week, which was the last time I did anything with it. Now today if I try to go to the site, I get "http://www.erwc.org/Default.aspx?tabid=85&error=Object+reference+not+set+to+an+instance+of+an+object.&content=0" in the URL, and an error message that says simply:
DotNetNuke Error
![Error Error](http://www.erwc.org/images/red-error.gif) |

Return to Site
The last time I touched the site, I only made minor edits, mostly on the skin and containers, and nothing has been installed or upgraded recently, to my knowledge. I didn't build the site originally, so since I can't get in to check, I'm not 100% sure which version of DNN it's running on, except that it's 5.something. I've tried checking the permissions to make sure nothing's changed, and everything was fine there. I also tried re-uploading the web.config to see if that might do anything, and it didn't. We host our sites on a dedicated server with HostGator, which we access via Plesk. I went into Plesk and tried stopping and restarting the app pool for erwc.org, and that didn't do anything either. I tried to recycle it first, but that gave me this error:
Error: Recycle IIS application pool failed: websrvmng failed: Exception occurred. (COM Error 80020009) at recycleAppPool(erwc.org(domain)(2.0)(pool))
This server has had some issues recently, so I put in a support ticket with HostGator just in case that's what it is. But if it isn't that, I'm posting here too in hopes that someone might have some idea what I can do about this.
Thanks.
