I am looking for a membership subscription module that can handle recurring payments.

It should put the user in a "subscribers" role once the payment processing has completed successfully.

It would be nice if it would send an email to the user when their subscription is about to expire.

Coupons would be a nice feature also in case I want to offer a discount on occasion.

The really important feature I need, is when the payment has successfully completed, I need to insert a record in a table (a non-core dnn table but the table is stored in the dnn db) with the userid and other info.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks, Joan

I've been looking for an alternative to the built-in DNN subscription functionality too and am surprised to see that there seems to be very few modules for doing this. The main problem with the built-in subscription functionality is it requries the users to dig around in their profile settings to find the Manage Services area, which is very unintuitive and convoluted. I need to have my own page with a simple subscribe button on it. CodingStaff.com makes a simple one that also sends the email messages for Welcom and Expired messages. The problem is I need one that allows a higher price on the first year and a lower price on every year thereafter and can't find a module that handles that scenario. A trial period that expires after a specified number of days or page hits would be nice too. Can't find that feature either. This is pretty common functionality so I'm surprised not to see a lot of options in this area.
