I am using the form and list module to upload client pictures to the website. The file location list box show all kind of locations like root, cache etc.

I would like to restrict this to only the "My folder" of the (registered) user. Is that possible and how should i proceed with this?!

Have you tried playing with Folder Permissions under File Manager. Generally those folders that you mentioned have permissions to All Users. Try removing All Users.

Small correction to previous note, it does make a difference in that the folders are still showed but is is not possible to upload files as the upload link is removed.  Small improvent :) it should be nices if the folder that are de-permissioned are not showed anymore.
