I see three permission options for a folder in the filemanager,

- Open files in folder
- Browse files in folder
- Write to folder

I disabled them all!

Where can i find the settings you mentioned ?

You are already using DNN6? Maybe this is a bug of the UrlControl, I will check later.
I tested with an older version.

I had the same issue here i use dnn6.01 and my registered user can view all folders and their files too although i made the root permissions denied all of them to (All User - Registered Users) groups !?


any new news about this issue


also the new container in dnn 6.01 when i give permission for fnl module to reg. users to create /submit record actually there is no buttons or link to add new record as the old versions and the manage dropdown menu disappeared !!!!!!!\

I have the same issue as well. Even though I have explicitly denied browse folder contents and open files in folders for certain directories, those directories are still visible in the folder drop downs for the image type field.
