Hi Chaps,

I'm feeling rather pleased with myself. After a lot of work, I have completely re-written DNN3 to make it W3C XHTML compliant. This means a lot to people in the UK as all sites should be compliant!!

I only have about 5 errors left to crush and it's there!!

I have re-written ALL core modules and they ALL validate.

So, to my question. I have written all this locally on my laptop and it works fine. I have also just installed a clean DNN3 install onto clean webspace.

Obviously, I have made changes to various files at the root and in directories such as DesktopModules and HttpModules, as well as recompiled various .dlls which I assume are in the bin directory.

What would you advise as being the best method to update my remote install from my local copy?

Thanks

Trevor

Hi Trevor,

I work for a software house that supplies a web product to UK Councils. We are currently preparing to rewrite the application where one of our main goals is to produce a truly accessible/compliant interface (XHTML, W3C, DDA...). We are looking at basing the system on top of an existing CMS application such as DNN.

I was wondering if you made any progress with DNN and accessibility and HTML compliance (as per your post above)?

Any advice that you could provide would be really appreciated.

Thanks,

Andy
