I am trying to upgrade my site to 5.6.3 and keep getting an error:

[NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.]
Intelligencia.UrlRewriter.Configuration.RewriterConfiguration.Load() +51
Intelligencia.UrlRewriter.Configuration.RewriterConfiguration.get_Current() +146
Intelligencia.UrlRewriter.RewriterHttpModule.BeginRequest(Object sender, EventArgs e) +42
System.Web.SyncEventExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication.IExecutionStep.Execute() +148
System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously) +75

What does this mean and how can I fix it?

Intelligencia is a url rewriter, supposedly needed/useful for SEO [food for web crawlers].

It is installed by a third-party module; it looks like most commonly, YAF.  It can be disabled.  Maybe an update of YAF [or whatever module uses it] would help.

It is the YAF module. I missed some things when copying to the web.config.  Everything is working great now.  Thanks

please note you do not need to copy entries from web.config to web.config - since 4.6.2 DotNetNuke will automatically merge entries i.e. if you deploy an upgrade package it does not contain a web.config and the installer will merge any config updates into your existing web.config file.
