Hi Guys,
I was wondering if it is possible to create a control which itself is contains content panes that can be populated with other modules. I sort of believe this is doable, since I have seen a product called Aggregator which does similar stuff..

Anyone has idea how this can be programmed?

Simply putting <div id="XyzPane"  runat="server" class="xyzPane"></div> does not help...

Thank you
Joz

The various modules out there that do this sort of thing tend to work by some trickery.
Basically you need to replicated in your own module the processes that happen on the skin/container layers.

Also as a rule these aggregation type modules tend to be runtime only systems - that is - if you look at the pages in EDIT mode you see the modules on the standard dnn layout - its only at runtme in VIEW mode that the manipulate things to display the modules inside their own render layers.

Westa
