From people's experience with hostgator, their hosting server is not quite friendly with DNN and there're many restrictions. Their service is pretty new and there's a lot to be improved.

Kerry i guess your are not friendly with Hostgator. They are using plesk and responding to my tickets very quickly. They even wrote URL rewriting rules for me in IIS.
What else they should do?

Unlike you, i'm going to say what needs to be improved. They say they are giving away Adwords credit while purchasing. But then they told me it was only for Linux customers.

I cannot compare Hostgator with PowerDNN. Because of league differences. Hostgator focuses on not only DNN but also many other web applications. While PowerDNN mainly targets businesses use DotNetNuke.

I was quite happy with PowerDNN. Tony is a great person. So if you are a strong business, i believe PowerDNN will be the right choice. Hostgator is useful for economical needs.

Personally recommend Hostgator for hosting single or multiple DotNetNuke Websites.
