Hello guys!

I have this warning when I try to run the DNN installation wizard in my Windows XP:

Unauthorized Access Error

Error Details

File C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\DNN563_2\Portals\_default\\Logs\LogFailures.xml.resources
Error   Access to the path 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\DNN563_2\Portals\_default\Logs\LogFailures.xml.resources' is denied. The Windows User Account listed below must have Read/Write Privileges to this path.

I know I should right click in app root folder, click Security tab, add ASPNET access full control, but in my Windows XP I see only the options General, Share, Web Share and Customize. There's no Security tab. Which other option I ave to set this and get my installation done?

Thanx for your help.

You need to have "Simple File Sharing" enabled.
While logged in as Administrator in XP do the following:

1.Open Windows Explorer, and choose Folder Options from the Tools menu.
2.On the View tab, scroll to the bottom of the Advanced Settings and clear (click) the check box next to "Use Simple File Sharing."
3.Click OK to apply the change, and you should now have a Security tab when viewing the properties of a file on an NTFS volume.
