I would like to call a javascript function in my gridview  pageindexchanging event. Something Like this:

protected void gv_PublicGroups_PageIndexChanging(object sender, GridViewPageEventArgs e)
        {
                gv_PublicUserSelection.PageIndex = e.NewPageIndex;
                 LoadUsersGridView();//bind gridview in this function
                ScriptManager.RegisterStartupScript(this, this.GetType(), "starScript", "MyLib_Check_Load(true);", true);
       }

It works in other events but it doesn't work in this event. I've  used this in my usual asp projects and it works but why it doesn't work in my dotnetnuke module.What Can I do ?
