I think there is a hurdle to take in the integration of modules and core. This hurdle is point are possibilities that the core gives. Let look at this example.

I’ve got a gallery module on a page with a list of galleries and the module create “subpages” for the sub galleries. I’ve like to link to a sub gallery I’ve just added from a news item. It’s only possible if I know the page where the module exists and then only to the page. Not to a “subpage”. (Yes I an open a browser and copy the url if it is a real url and not a postback)

Looking at the core sitemap provider I think something has to be build similar to this for pages. So I  can link to “subpage” a module creates.

What do you think?
