  • If I create a new blog entry, when I try to edit it again I get the error below:
  • If I edit an older blog entry I do not have any problems.
  • I have not changed anything recently, only added new blog entries.
  • All other modules on the website seem to be OK, both new and old entries.

Error: Edit blog entry is currently unavailable.

Is anybody else seeing this? Do you have any ideas?

Thanks!!

I'm not seeing the exact same problem as well. Blog was working fine for months, all of a sudden I'm getting errors when trying to edit a blog. The first time I encoutered the error was trying to upload and image. I'm curious, how is your site running, I'm hosted on GoDaddy and I'm wondering if something changed in the GoDaddy enviornment.

The first time I saw the problem, I was also thrying to upload an image, I am not sure if this is significant, I think the problem that we uncovered is related to permissions in the file system and for some reason the problem manifests itself in the blog and not the other modules...

I am also hosted on Godaddy, I think your assumption is correct, something happened on godaddy to cause the problem. However I called them and they said that they did not change anything... yeah right!

As of about 6/13 my site returned to normal, I can now create directories, and edit all my blog entries.

I believe that this was a godaddy problem which they corrected. I certainly did not make any changes to my DNN installation either to cause, or to fix the problem...
