Hi, I have been hunting for days on how to integrate Aspxgridview into dnn. Please could someone provide an overview on how achieve this. How to package the control into a module for DNN in Visual Studio 2010. My head is aching and my eyes are ready to pop out my head. I have referenced Chris Hammonds http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Training/Basic-Module-Development.aspx but implementing the Aspxgridview component has me confused. Many thanks!!!

Hi,

There is no extra settings required for integrating asp gridview into dnn custom module. You need to follow general process to create a custom module first then in view page of module you can add any asp control like gridview or any other control.
What is the error you are getting in your module.

You can check below links:

Thanks

Hi Sibabrata,
Thank you so much!! That shed light onto everything. I managed to create the dnn module with Aspxgridview and upload it into dnn. Getting the following error at the moment: It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. There are suggestions to remove the web.config file from the Aspxgridview folder or any other web.config file under the Dotnetnuke root, however this meant the Grid was unavailable. Wrestling with it at the moment. Once again. Thanks a stack for your help! I think I am almost there.
