My legacy skin was using SOLPARTMENU and this worked a charm:

I've got the same issue on the default installation of DNN 6.15 and the Dark Knight Skin.  It's intermitent.  Sometimes it works just fine, at other times it hide behind every module you can put on a page.  Very annoying.  I'm giong to try to find out where to add a zindex entry to the menu.. anyone know where?

In the skin.css file you need to locate the ".MainMenu_SubMenu" class. In this particular skin file it is located on line 612. Inside that class you need to add (or adjust if already present) a z-index property that is greater than anything else on the page. In this example I adjusted it to 9999.

If that doesn't work send me a link to your site and I'll take a look.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Justin,
I had IE 9 compatability mode turned on and that was causing the issue, so it's not happening now but if the issue returns I'll try the z-order info you provided. Thanks for this.
