Hi

I've just upgraded an ongoing project to DNN 6 ( from 5.6) . The upgrade went well, and on first look the new layouts & interface are well impressive.
However I have noticed a problem with the Token [Tab:TabName] not appearing to work properly. I am using it as an on-page title. It was working fine in 5.6.

This is the code in my .asxc file (styling removed)

In Header :   <%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="TEXT" Src="~/Admin/Skins/text.ascx" %>

In Skin:      < dnn:TEXT runat="server" id="dnnTEXT"  text="[Tab:TabName]" replaceTokens="True" />

Has anything in DNN 6 changed  I have missed?

Thanks for the quick reply

No, no text at all is displayed where the title should be.

In page source

<!--

 <div  id="services_top" class="services_top_inner"> <span id="dnn_dnnTEXT_lblText" class="services_head_text"></span> </div>

-->

Is displayed where I would expect the Title to be.

I guess this means the Admin/skins/text.ascx control is being accessed as the lblText comes from there I believe.

( sorry for <!--  --> -  i don't seem to be able to add code snippets for some reason )

can you please check your web.config and see if you have debug set to true and if so set it to false - a user reported a similar error yesterday where tokens were not rendering and it was tracked to that setting (which impacts script loading) and also that they had duplicate skin/containers in the _default and portals folders (http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=17305&PROJID=2)

Thanks for the suggestions.

The only mention of debug is set to false -

The only skin that is in both the portals\_default and portals\0 appears to be the _default skin

I have tried renaming that, but problem still persists
