Allan, you can pull the debug version out of the source package and drop it into your site- tht will allow you to set debug until we get 6.0.1 out

 Hi Cathal - thanks for the reply.  Not quite sure what you mean - what debug version of what file?  Thanks.

Allan,Sorry if I wasn't clear - if you download the 6.0 source version and unzip it, you copy the folder you find at DotNetNuke_Community_06.00.00_Source\Website\js\Debug into your install version of the site ie. the install just has a js folder and no debug folder. The reason behind this is that when running in production mode (i.e. debug=false) the dotnetnuke website will use minified versions of scripts - however when running in debug=true mode then the larger, clearer, easier to debug versions are loaded. However due to a packaging error this folder was not included except in the source package - copying it into your site resolves this.

... Just to confirm:
Downloaded the source package, extracted the debug folder and placed it in the js sub-directory. Switched the web.config file back to:
<compilation debug="true" strict="false" targetFramework="4.0">

... and it all worked.

Well done DNN team. The 6.0.0 version is looking very, very good.

Duncan.

Hi Cathal,

Thanks for the info on this. I was developing a WAP solution on 6 with debug on and all my modal windows stopped working once I changed the config file with debug=true.

Without this forum post I'd be spending hours pulling my hair out.

Cheers

Colin
