After upgrading to DNN 6.0.0, I lost all of my DDR Mega1 menus that I had customized for use with the Alpha Brisk skin.  I looked into the skin files and notices that all of the navigation references were changed from DDR to DNN.

How can I recover or do I need to re-install all changes made to the DDR and Alpha Brisk css and skin files?

Regards
Hans

Hans,
If you zip up your skin and your DDR Mega1 template (along with the css, javascript and manifest for the menu you are using) I would be happy to take a look and get it working in DNN6

Send me the two zips (1 skin and 1 menu) to joe AT dnncorp.com

First, thanks to Joe Brinkman who took a look at the issues regarding my particular report, devoting some of his weekend.  Finally, I think that I have resolved the issue, as follows:
Performed the following PRIOR to DNN6.0 upgrade
1. Removed the DNNWerks Page Manager as this will be replaced with DNN6.0
2. Removed DNNWerks Keywordification as this somehow interfered with the DNN6.0 installation.
3. Removed the DNNWerks Advanced Panel provider extension, as this apparently interferes with the DNN6.0 installation
4. Upgraded the DDR Menu with Release 2.0 for DNN5.0.... not this is for DNN5.0
5. Backed up both the files and the database of the website, particularly the portal skin files
6. Upgraded the website to DNN6.0.... note that there will be an error installing the DDR package as the DNN6.0 installs release 1.99.05.
7. Installed the DDRMenu Release 2.0 for DNN6.0, as obtained from the dnngarden.com website.  Note that this will now be a repair of the original installation.
8. Extracted the RadEditorProvider_06.00.00_Install.zip file from the DNN 6.0 Install package.
9. Installed the RadEditorProvider_06.00.00_Install.zip using the install new extension feature.

The net effect of this is that the website and its "customized" DDR Mega1 menus were restored.

thanks to all of the hints and suggestions provided by other users on this forum.

Regards
Hans
