I'm trying to secure my login and registration pages.  I've searched the forums and found a link to the following article http://seablick.com/blog/109/dnn-ssl-...

The article calls for adding Account Login and User Account modules to pages, neither of which are available in my list of modules.  Where they removed/replaced at some point, or am I somehow missing core modules?

Now I've noticed that after I enable SSL in Admin > Site Settings the default login page is no longer even accessible.  Attempts to click on Login result in a flicker (perhaps a redirect?).  This is quite confusing.  I'm using DNN 5.6.3 for now.

both those modules should be there - by default though they're not available to all users. Log in as host and go to admin->site settings and under the host settings you'll be able to move the modules across from the available to selected list.

As for your flicker error - this is a redirect as you dont have an SSL certificate installed.

Thanks for the reply.  I went to Admin > Site Settings > Advanced Settings > Host and simply moved every Available Module into the Selected modules list.  I still don't have either Account Login or User Account modules.

As for the login screen and flicker, under Admin > Site Settings > Advanced Settings > SSL Settings I checked "SSL Enforced?" and I'm able to use the default login page again.

im not sure what the issue is then, perhaps a problem in an older version of DotNetNuke - if you're using an older version I recommend an upgrade to either 5.6.3 or 6.0.
