IE Bug: The menu works fine if installed in DNN5 as legacy skins. If it's installed on DNN4, it will blank out the submenu with a 1 second delay, when you are running Windows 7, Vista and XP.

Is there a solution for this other than upgrading to DNN5?

Thanks!

You don't have to upgrade to DNN5 (although I recommend DNN 6 if you decided to upgrade) to get the menu working.
Solpartmenu is an older provider that is no longer support in the core. You can replace your menu in your current skin with DNNMenu and specify the provider type to 'DNNMenuNavigationProvider'. This should avoid many issues.

You can read more here: http://www.r2idnn.com/Blog/BlogEntry/...

Only need to follow step 2 since you're not on DNN5.

So there is no quick fix and the only option is to replace the solpartmenu for the new DNNMenu? We are a skin developer team and we are upgrading all our skins to DNN5. But of course the older skins all have the then default solpartmenu and we wanted to. Will the new menu work on DNN4?
