Thanks Steven for the link to the video I found it to be very useful. I have updated my editor to the DotNetNuke.RadEditorProvider and it works like gem.

I had more control with the FCK Editor;
I could hide the file browser dialog option for example, even when it appears in the image dialog; I can hide the image dialog in the radeditor provider by deleting the tool in the text editor configurator (host menu) but I can't get rid of it when you right click an image and select properties... which makes it impossible t hide the file system from the user.

Unless there's a way to do that, I want FCK editor option back...

I'll go try this: dnnckeditor.codeplex.com

I just gotta say... the dnnckeditor is EXCELLENT!  It installs into DNN 6 like a regular module; no config changes, and when you go into the editor options (on any instance) you've got a plethora of settings right there -- it's really amazing, quick and easy to set up.  And you can hide the file access dialogs altogether!  fantastic!
