Unfortunately in the current version the core system does not allow custom rego or login pages to open in a popup window.

To get this functionality working on www.loyaltepays.com we have created 4 custom skin objects that let the admin control the popup action from the skin - we have these objects working for Login, User/Rego, Terms and Privacy.  Once we know what is happening with 6.0.1 - that is if this functionality or something similar gets integrated into the core - we plan to make these skin objects available on forge.

The other area that is currently problematic - is the menu - if you have created a custom register page for example that appears on the MENU it is NOT currently directly possible for this register page to open as a popup.

But having said that - if you are running asp.net 4.0 it is actually possible to create this functionality by using the new DNNMENU razorhost template.
