In DNN 6 I see it is possible to move the manage box around within the container.

Is it possible to use this same technique to build a skin that users or admins can drag and drop around the panes or a single pane where they can drag and drop the containers to where they want. It would give my clients more flexibility in the layout of there pages.

I am even thinking of making a members page like the BBC where they can move whats important to them on the page to where they want it.

Will some one please let me know and if possible point me in the right direction.

Thanks

drag and drop used to work in DNN 2 to 5 (AFAIR), not sure what happened to it in DNN6.

Thanks Sebastian,

I know you can move the new manage button around a container so whatever allows that to happen must be possible to tap into. The only reason I mention it is people are visual more and more these days and they like to be able to do things visually.

With the older versions I only ever saw drag and drop work well in layout mode I am thinking it would be great in any mode.

Thanks again
