I dont know if it is my IE9 (both modes) or the skin or DNN but things are not appearing as they should when menus and objects are layed out.  For example this forum I have that blue box behind the text making it hard to read, this is also happening on my sites forum.

When I log in with the popup i have to use the X button to close and refresh to see I am logged in.  Also the text "Forgot Password" is behind the "Login" button making both hard to click on.

Last I would like to point out an issue where my menu bar gradient gets repeated occasionally 21 times extra.  In other words i have the menus background gradient being repeated 21 times after the Horizontal menu bar itself then the page content (22 times total).

In install extensions for host I have to use the top links above the buttons that say the same thing for some reason.

There are a few other issues mostly with registration and login which maybe skin related in DNN for these modules.

My main concern with this post is the repeating menu issue. It does this once every 10 refreshs/page changes and it looks horrible when it does it.   The log in issues have work arounds and parts of it seem slow however this menu gradient repeating once so often has me concerned as to what maybe causing this.

Thanks in advance for the help.

what do you mean by "blue box behind the text"? there is a very light blue background, but this doesn't affect readability for most users. did you clear local browser cache and made sure, you have javascript enabled?

The blue box is the info box after a field name on user forms that gives you a description of it.

However I posted too many issues in this one thread.  The problem I need help with the most is the repeating menu gradiant that happens randomly on two sites in one installation.  The menue shows up fine but it repeats below it like it has more buttons for about 19-20 times.  I click on the page or hit refresh it goes away and does not come back until randomly it appears again.

ok figured out what that was I think... it was due to me not being patient enough to let the page refresh. Is there something to let us know it is working on a refresh. I wait about 15 seconds and it goes normal on the gradient. I am not sure if this is really the issue maybe the refresh is what cured it for me but it still glitched with the menu background repeating its rows because it happens when I am not logged on as well.

I dont see that issue on this site anymore with the blue alt text boxes showing up under the text. It may be a skin issue that was cached in my browser causing that and possibly this menu issue as well.
